Today was International Earthcache Day and a group of us here in Northern Colorado came up with a great way to celebrate it. We started planning a while back and after all was said and done, we ended up with a day that would bag us a few earthcaches, a 5/5 Wherigo, a couple traditionals, and a multi cache – not to mention a great hiking event.
How is this for a group of great cachers appreciating International Earthcache Day? There were fourteen of us (humans) in all – and two GeoPets along for the hike. All of this and a souvenir too. Thanks to Team Kaiketsu for hosting this event. For those of you that missed this one, don’t worry – I can assure you there will be more. We have decided that between this event and my recent hiking event – there is enough interest to make these events a regular occurrence. The biggest question is –
Where should we hike next?
