Geocaching

ge·o·cach·ing

ˈjēōˌkaSHiNG/
noun
  1. the recreational activity of hunting for and finding a hidden object by means of GPS coordinates posted on a website.

Geocaching is a great way to get out of the house and exercise your mind as well as your body while participating in a real world scavenger hunt. It is easy to get started and can be a free way for the whole family to have fun together. If you want to get started go to Geocaching.com and see what’s around you. You can bet there is one nearby and you have probably been very close to it. You might have even been around when someone else was finding it.

To get even more info go check out these people, videos, tutorials, and blogs on the ins and outs of geocaching. (in no particular order)

We are still collecting names but looking for a much easier (and user friendly ) way to compile this directory. More to come…
